The Aurora High School Choir is in its 100th year of existence and has continually been a strong program with great enrollment numbers for decades with it currently standing at 137 members in grades 9-12 (35% of the student body).  In the 2016-17 school year, due to the size of the choir, the group has started something new where there are two smaller choirs as well as the entire choir. In its current formation, there is a Men’s Choir and a Women’s Choir as well as the Combined Choirs (9th-12th grades).  The goal of the split is to give students multiple ways in which to make music through different sized ensembles.

The Aurora Middle School Choir has been an incredibly strong asset in helping the students of Aurora develop their musical skills as well as cultivate a love for singing and performing.  Even though choir is an elective, it is comprised of around 50% of the 7th-8th grade students in the school. The current enrollment in the choir is 90 and the students are making some incredible progress.
